After a little drama over the last few weeks, Los Angeles (California) Cathedral four-star receiver Jamire Calvin is where he wants to be.
Calvin is a Nebraska Cornhusker.
"Calvin has the potential to develop in to a dynamic playmaker at the next level," said Scout.com national recruiting analyst Greg Biggins. "He has a burst, is quick and explosive getting in and out of his breaks and is very good after the catch. Calvin is a polished route runner and combined with his quick twitch ability, is very tough to cover down the field. He's more quick than fast in terms of his top end speed, but he runs well enough to be a deep threat and he can get behind a defense. He has good hands, is a natural pass catcher and doesn't fight the ball. He's also good in the return game and we could see a scenario where he's returning punts and kicks early on in his college career."
The Huskers moved to No. 18 in the latest Scout.com team recruiting rankings with the commitment.
