Nebraska targets Texas prep WR Tommy Bush

Nebraska targeted Texas wide receiver Tommy Bush on Thursday.

Approaching 20+ offers, Schertz (Texas) Samuel Clemens wide receiver Tommy Bush added Nebraska to his choices on Thursday. The 6-foot-5, 190-pound prospect is quickly becoming one of the most sought after wide receivers in the country the last two weeks.

“As a family we are carefully observing each offer and we are not going to commit immediately. There are no favorites and we are considering every option.”

“It is really only God’s work," Bush told Scout.com's Greg Powers over the weekend. "I give all glory to him. I work hard, I stay humble. I am just appreciative of the opportunity I am given."

Joining Nebraska are schools such as Florida State, Baylor, TCU, Oklahoma State, Oregon and Michigan State to offer the Texas prep.

Bush finished with 395 yards and five touchdowns in 2016. His frame has colleges excited about what could be around the goal line at the next level.

The junior was one of five offensive standouts at the Opening in Houston this weekend. He posted the fourth best overall Nike+ Football Rating with a 113.07.
