Scottsdale (Arizona) Desert Mountain wide receiver Kade Warner has picked a preferred walk-on spot at Nebraska over Arizona State. The Arizona 6A honorable all-mention (24-7sports.com) wide receiver visited Lincoln last weekend.
"It was about the opportunity to continue growing as a student, player, and person," said Warner in a text message to Scout.
Warner is the son of former NFL Super Bowl MVP Kurt Warner. Over the last three seasons, Kade caught 241 balls for 2,892 yards and 35 touchdowns.
"It was an awesome experience," said Warner of his trip. "The coaches made me feel like they really wanted me."
Nebraska enters the 2017 season with only a projected seven scholarship wide receivers on the roster.
