Mount Holly (New Jersey) Rancocas Valley Reg. high school running back Iverson Clement has a top six, but it hasn’t stopped teams from jumping into the mix. On Tuesday night, Nebraska was the latest school to offer the four-star prospect.
“Clement is an elite recruit because of the combination of his instincts, his quick feet and his ability to see small holes, change direction and then accelerate quickly,” said Scout.com national recruiting analyst Brian Dohn. “He can run between the tackles and break through quickly the second level, or he can get to the edge. He changes direction well and that makes him elusive. He can turn a short gain into a long one because of his ability to accelerate past the second level. He hits the hole quickly.”
The junior also is a threat as a pass catcher out of the backfield.
“He can take the swing pass and turn it up field in a hurry, or he can run a wheel route and be successful,” said Dohn. “Clement is very good, and he will be even better as he matures and he gets stronger.”
According to Maxpreps.com, Clement racked up 1,430 yards and 19 touchdowns in nine games this past season. https://twitter.com/Swaggy__ai/status/836772034898194433
