Scout '19 4-star Brian Williams to see Nebraska again

Dallas Bishop Dunne four-star defensive back Brian Williams will be making a second trip to Lincoln.

Dallas (Texas) Bishop Dunne four-star 2019 defensive back Brian Williams will be making a return trip to Nebraska. The sophomore plans to hit the Huskers' Red-White game, after visiting Friday Night Lights last summer.

In 14 games, Williams recorded 78 tackles and 8 interceptions in 2016. His play has earned him a solid offer list, with schools like Nebraska, TCU, UCLA, USC, LSU, Baylor, Auburn, Texas and Arkansas just some who have come to the table.

"Their fans, definitely," said Williams, when asked what he remembers most about his first trip to Lincoln. "Great fan base."

Williams’ older brother Rawleigh, was a 2016 Doak Walker Award Watch List member, racking up over 1,300 yards in 2016 for Arkansas.

Brian was recently at the Under Armour camp in Dallas, where national recruiting analyst Greg Powers got another look at the 2019 prospect.

"One of the top overall prospects in the state of Texas' 2019 recruiting class, Williams once again showed why he's a complete safety," said Powers. "Williams possesses a good frame for the position and the natural coverage instincts to make a difference in the passing game. When you flip on the tape, he flashes as a hard-hitting downhill crasher, too. Williams showed good athleticism and coverage awareness in Sunday's action."

Williams will be making the trip with teammates Calvin Avery, Damion Daniels (Nebraska '17 signee) and Marquez Beason.
