Jackson was expected to make a jump this spring, but with starters Chris Jones and Josh Kalu back, reps this spring with the first-team unit were unknown. But, Kalu has moved to safety, opening up opportunties for Jackson.
"I'm the starting boundary corner," said Jackson, when talking about Kalu's move and what it meant for him. "It's amazing. It's where I wanted to be. I'm glad the coaches have recognized my talent and what I'm capable of. I just have to keep showing them what I could do."
Jackson is a former four-star prospect and one of the top prospects Nebraska has landed in the Big Ten era.
