Nebraska extends first Big Ten offer to MN prep David Alston

Nebraska threw an offer to Minnesota prep David Alston on Monday.

With a handful of offers, Woodbury (Minnesota) high school defensive end/linebacker David Alston received his first Big Ten offer on Monday, when Nebraska jumped into the mix. http://www.scout.com/college/nebraska/player/213227-david-alston

With 10+ offers, Alston already has landed offers from Iowa State, Utah and Air Force in addition to Nebraska.

In a recent interview with Scout.com before landing his Nebraska offer, Alston indicated a timetable for making a decision. http://www.scout.com/college/minnesota/story/1768205-mn-de-olb-alston-is...

"I want to have my decision made right before the season, but if not then, I'll wait until after," said the junior.

If Minnesota jumps into the mix, don't be surprised to see Alston commit to the in-state school.
