Nebraska 4-star prospect Manuel Allen hits Lincoln for extended visit

Corona (California) Centennial four-star wide receiver Manuel Allen has landed in Lincoln.

Corona (California) Centennial four-star wide receiver Manuel Allen has landed in Lincoln and will be making an extended stop to see what Nebraska has to offer. Allen is a former USC commitment and thought to be favoring the Huskers heading into the weekend. Allen will leave on Sunday, after watching the Nebraska Red-White game on Saturday. http://www.scout.com/player/208693-manuel-allen/news?year=2017&s=204

Recently Scout.com caught up with Allen at the Pylon 7v7 Tournament in Las Vegas. National recruiting analyst Greg Biggins gave his thoughts.

"Allen has looked good this weekend in Las Vegas, having no problems getting open, catching the ball consistently and using his athleticism to make plays after the catch," said Biggins at the time. "He has a great frame, is a fluid athlete and there's no question the upside is there."

Allen has a strong offer list, with schools like Ole Miss, UCLA and Oregon also standing out.

At 6-foot-2, the four-star prospect would fit the mold of a taller receiver - a receiver the Huskers failed to land in the 2017 recruiting class.
