1 official down - Athlete, SirDarean Adams

We caught up with one of the hottest recruits out of the Sunshine state. Adams just made an official not too long ago and we got his thoughts on the visit, that impact it made on his list and what's going on with his team and the rest of the recruiting world. Check out our latest update on Adams.

SirDarean Adams - Ath. - 6-1, 212 - Brandenton, FL. (Bayshore)

SirDarean Adams is having a good year thus far. Complimented by a powerful running game, his own running game has found a lot of success in recent games. "I've had over 100 yards rushing in the last two games." Adams said. Though Adams is playing QB for his team now, he said that the percentage he is asked to actually throw the ball is minimal. "We are running it about 95% of the time." he said. "We've got so many weapons though, they can't stop us all."

On the year, Adams said he has scored 12 touchdowns and his team sports a 4-1 record, the last three games being dominations of the competition.

As for the recruiting, Adams visited (officially) Michigan State last weekend. "It was a real good first visit." Adams stated. "I got to see everything they had, talked to the coaches and get a feel for what's going on there."

Adams had stated prior to this that he would probably be wide-open for the duration of his decision-making process and after his first official, he remains that way. "Everyone is still even right now." he said. "I'll figure it all out after my visits are over."

Other teams that do seem to be there for Adams as strong possibilities, at least right now are, Nebraska, Florida, Florida State and Ohio State. Out of those schools, Adams is being recruited anywhere from WR to Safety to CB.

Michigan State is recruiting him as a wide receiver.
