USC and Nebraska are Co-Leaders

Andrew Friedman is reporting that another quarterback is now holding a Nebraska offer and also has Nebraska and USC as his co-leaders.

William Tuitama already has a scholarship offer from Nebraska. The QB was 64-93 for 1,300 yards passing as a junior. He had 11 touchdowns and two interceptions. William was an honorable mention all-league selection.

He says the Cornhuskers are recruiting him the hardest right now and they are his co-leader with USC.

"It is all about football at Nebraska," said Tuitama. "The whole town revolves around it. When I was eight years old I went to a game there. Nebraska was playing against the University of Pacific and I was a ball boy for Pacific. I remember looking up in the stands and you see nothing but red and I remember how loud it was."

Coach Dennis Wagner is recruiting him for NU.

William was at the USC skills camp last Sunday.

"I really liked it a lot. I love Coach Carroll and the staff. They are always fired up there. They are fresh off of a national championship and they are still coming to practice with something to prove. I really like that."

Coach Rocky Seto is recruiting him for the Trojans.

The rest of his top six are Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, and Oregon.

He is taking an unofficial trip to UA in June, and then will be taking an unofficial trip to Arizona State for the Sun Devils' one-day camp. Coach Mark Helfrich is recruiting him for ASU.

"I need to find out more about Arizona State so I am eager to get there and check them out."

Tuitama will also be at the Fresno State camp and TheInsiders/MSL Combine this summer. Last year, he attended the Elite 11 as a junior and this year he will be at the tryouts at Cal and in Las Vegas.

When asked to describe his strengths on the field, Tuitama responded, "I am a leader and the other players look up to me. I have good arm strength and knowledge for the game."

He carries a 2.9 core GPA and scored an 840 on his SAT. Williams has not yet received his ACT score back. He is undecided on a major.
