A very important offer to Teasley is expected to be there on Monday. "Texas is supposed to be offering my on Monday. Their coaches told my coach that anyway."
Teasley is getting looks to play running back, wide receiver and defensive back in college. Does it matter which position a team sees him playing at for them?
"It really doesn't matter to me. I do really want to play offense though. Either running back or wide receiver."
Currently there are only three teams that are recruiting him solely as a running back. Those teams are Texas Tech, Kansas and Tulsa. What does Teasley like about playing the running back position?
"You have to have an extra sense on the field and you have to know which moves to use. It's a lot more challenging (than receiver or defensive back)."
So what is Nebraska recruiting him as? "They told my coach that they like me as a defensive back."
Right now Teasley is favoring Texas, Oklahoma and Texas Tech. Distance isn't a problem for him and he is planning on attending camps at Texas, Texas A&M and Oklahoma this summer.
Teasley is also looking to run track in college. He and his team mates just won the state title yesterday. Teasley runs the 4x200, 200 and also does the long jump.
His best 200m time this year was 21.3. He has run the 100m before coming in at 10.4. That 10.4 time would have been good enough to win the 100m time this year. However, the distance and difficulty of the 100m just isn't there to interest Teasley. He is interested in running track in college.
