Paul Freeney Lands Two More Big 12 Offers

The Lone Star State has a deep crop of defensive lineman for the 2005 class. One Texas prep high on the list of most is Aldine Eisenhower's Paul Freeney who already has scholarship offers from Oklahoma and Kansas. Having said that, he recently landed two more Big 12 offers.

"I picked up two more offers," Paul Freeney said. "A&M and Nebraska offered."

Thoughts on the 'Huskers?

"I don't know much about them," the Houston DL explained. "I've got to do a little background checkin' on them."

As for the Aggies, a team Freeney's been very high on from the start, he said, "It just felt real good to finally get offered by them."

With the Ags out in front, anyone capable of nudging past them?

"Probably Oklahoma," Freeney revealed. "Their football team is usually pretty good."

The 6-3, 230-pounder said he'll "make the A&M summer camp", but isn't sure if he'll be able to "make it to any of the others."
