#4 Safety returns from camp in Ohio

One of the top safety prospects was just at a one-day camp in Columbus. We called him to see how it went and to see just how his ever-growing list of offers was shaping up. Was Ohio State a lock for this Ohio native or do others stand a chance?

Adam Myers-White just returned from Columbus, Ohio, attending a one-day camp at Ohio State. Following a rigorous Summer basketball schedule, Myers-White said that the testing and drills didn't go quite as planned. "I don't think I did that well." he said. "The basketball just kind of took something out of me I guess."

What it didn't take, however, was his size, the 6'3" and almost 200 pound safety marking him as physically one of the more ideal secondary prospects in the country. But, in addition, he's got that defensive nose for the ball. Tallying 70 tackles, intercepting 4 balls and causing 3 fumbles, Adam likes to consider himself a bit of a havoc-maker out there on the field. That's what he thinks has a lot to do with his lofty ranking, TheInsiders ranking Myers-White as the 4th best safety prospect in the country.

"I move side-to-side real well." he said. "I'm smart at reading the plays at the line of scrimmage, so that puts him into a position to make plays."

Most people think that Adam will be making those plays for the team he just left today, but Adam said that though the Buckeyes are certainly high on the list, he's got lots of other options yet to explore. "There's a lot of other teams out there that I am looking at."he said. "I am looking at Michigan, Oklahoma, Stanford, USC and the Purdue and Nebraska-type teams."

Considering the fact that the Hamilton, Ohio resident is planning on taking all five of his allowed official visits as well, even if it is Ohio State in the end, the fans of the Buckeyes are going to have to wait.

Adam says nobody is a "lock" though and he's got a lot of time to figure everything out. "It's not like I don't have a lot of options in front of me." he said. "I get mail from all these schools all the time, so I have a lot of places to look at and figure out what I want to do. I want to make sure I make the right decision and not just a quick decision so I don't have to worry about it anymore."

Adam sports a 3.7 GPA
