Garvin cuts back favorites from 10 to 7

The list was cut on June 10th from over 30 to a top 10. However, the list was cut down before any unofficial visits and now is at seven.

Michael Ray Garvin has been a busy man this summer. Track season has taken him right into unofficial visits which will take him right into football conditioning into the season and his official visits. The 5-foot-8 and 185 pound Garvin was recently put on The Insiders Top 100 at No. 86.

Garvin recently returned from his first unofficial which he took to South Bend to see Notre Dame. "It was a great school. They could be in my top three. I like them a lot," Garvin said.

Next up for Garvin is Georgia who his mother is in the process of lining up that unofficial. The schools that Garvin will unofficially visit this summer, or his new top seven are:

Notre Dame

Georgia

Florida State

Oklahoma

Colorado

Rutgers

Kansas State

The teams that were eliminated from Garvin's list were Boston College, Nebraska and Maryland. "The top seven are the best schools for me."

Garvin said about Nebraska, "They weren't in my top list. I didn't really like Nebraska."
