The week that was - Huskers in the NFL

Demorrio Williams had 1 tackle against the Detroit Lions on Sunday. The Detroit Lions pulled the stunner, beating the Falcons 17-10. Detroit had some bad news in the game, however, losing one of their start wideouts, Roy Williams for an indefinite period of time.

Chris Kelsay tallied 2 tackles, one solo, one assisted, one of those tackles being a sack on Jets' QB, Chad Pennington. It obviously helped, but not enough as the Jets edged Buffalo 16-14.

DeJuan Groce was among St. Louis' best tacklers, totaling 6 against the Seattle Seahawks, the Rams beating Seattle 33-27. On the other side, Josh Brown went 2-3 on field goals, his long from 48 yards and Grant Wistrom added 3 tackles during the game.

Mike Minter totaled 8 eight tackles against Denver, Carolina ultimately losing to the Broncos 20-17.

John Parrella had 4 tackles for the Raiders in a losing effort as Oakland was beaten by Indianapolis 35-14.

Ralph Brown had 2 tackles for the Minnesota Vikings as the Vikes beat the Houston Texans in overtime, 34-28. On the other side, Jay Foreman once again led the Texans in tackles, totaling 13 on the day, 9 of those solo efforts.

Ahman Green will be competing tonight as Green Bay faces the Tennessee Titans. Green currently ranks amongst the top 10 running backs in the NFL with 472 total yards. Green also ranks seconds in fumbles.
