Trott scheduled to be in Nebraska this weekend?

The use of the tight end this year for Nebraska has encouraged a lot of talented tight ends to consider Nebraska. One of the most highly regarded tight ends in the nation will be in Lincoln this coming weekend, or will he?

Few are better at his position than Tommy Trott. Tommy has the size, speed and skill to come in next year and play immediately. At 6-foot-4 and 240 pounds he is physically ready to bring his game.

Will that game be in Lincoln this weekend to see Nebraska take on Missouri? "No, our schedule got changed because of the hurricanes," Tommy Trott's father said.

"Our Thursday night game got moved to next week and that is what made this week so great was to take all day Friday to travel. Now we play on Friday night. We tried to work it out. Too hard to get out of Montgomery, Ala. to Nebraska."

The question is now, does Tommy still take an official to Nebraska or is this one that he just won't re-schedule? "They've been taking about it, not a game weekend though. We won't start playoffs until the second weekend in November."

"They're talking, Tommy and Coach Randy Jordan, about working out a new time. But, I was dying to see that Husker Nation! My lip is much more poked out than his! I was dying to see that in action. And when we scheduled it that was the game. Troy beat them and they choked it down last Saturday. We were looking forward to a good game."

While Nebraska won't have Trott in the stands this weekend the good news is that it's still in the plans for Tommy and his family to get in an official to Nebraska.
