Oklahoma star visiting NU, can he get an offer?

Nebraska is familiar with Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa. Last year, they extended two offers to players from the school. Washington is a perennial powerhouse in 5A ball in Oklahoma and this year is no different.

Felix Jones is leading the charge for Washington this year. The do-everything player from Tulsa comes in at 5-10 and 195 pounds.

"We're doing pretty good. We're undefeated. We're No. 1 right now. I am hoping we just cruise into the playoffs now and come out in the end with a championship," Jones said.

To this point Jones is holding the one offer from Texas A&M. However, it sounds like some others are at least close to offering the running back.

"It's going pretty good. I'm having fun. I'm getting what I can out of it. I just have the one offer from A&M. I am going to visit Nebraska on November 26 and Texas A&M on December 11."

As of right now Jones doesn't have an offer from Nebraska. "I don't know what they are going to do. Maybe they'll offer when I take the visit. Maybe."

To his knowledge, every school is recruiting him as a running back. However, Jones also starts at strong safety on defense. "It really doesn't matter where they play me. I'll play wherever they tell me to."

Getting that Nebraska offer on his official visit isn't something that Joes has thought about all that much. However, when asked about it he definitely would like to have that happen. "Oh man, I don't know. It would let me know how interested they are in me."

Although the offer in the moment may be overwhelming to Jones, he is planning on taking his time through the process, collect the offers and make a decision at the end. "I'm just looking for a school that is going to treat me right."
