Gordon will be in Lincoln today

The offensive tackle position and getting some bodies to satisfy the requirements in this year's class has become increasingly important for Nebraska. This week Nebraska has one of the best JUCO OT's in the nation visiting and it hoping to make an impression.

Marcus Gordon is a beast of a prospect at a school that isn't necessarily noted for churning out top division one talent. At Hutchinson, he anchored a line with his 6-foot-6 and 320 pound frame and is looking to make a spring transfer to a four-year institution.

Gordon will in Lincoln starting this Wednesday and following his visit on Friday will be travelling directly to Louisville. He is hoping that he can get some things straightened out before he has the chance to sign December 15.

"Yes sir, I am going tomorrow. I spoke to Caoch Dennis Wagner. Both he and Coach John Blake are recruiting me," Gordon said.

JUCO players who transfer in are expected to be able to contribute immediately. For Gordon he has been told that and it may have impressed him a little bit.

"They told me that if I came in I would be No. 1 on the depth chart. It's a good place to play. It doesn't make a difference to me whether I play immediately or work my way up. I have three years to play two."
