Huskers latest to offer one of the best in Georgia

It seemed like only a matter of time until the coaches at Nebraska would be back at it. There was letter of intent signing day, a short, but well needed vacation and then an evaluation period. The evaluation period wasn't all that long either, but we are beginning to see some of the newest offers hit the mailboxes of the nation's best from Nebraska.

Justin Anderson is the latest to pick up an offer from Nebraska. The offensive tackle from Ocilla (Ga.) Irwin County High School comes in at 6-foot-4 and 315. If you see Anderson on film though, you'll see it's his feet and aggressiveness that are the big sellers.

Ryan Jordan of Scout.com had this to say about Anderson, "Justin Anderson is absolutely one of the top offensive linemen in the south and an early candidate for All-South honors."

Jordan recently caught up with Anderson.

"I like Georgia, Georgia Tech, Florida State, Nebraska and Florida," Justin Anderson said.

The in-state Bulldogs hold an early lead.

"Georgia is my favorite school. I've just always liked them. I watch them on TV a lot. I like David Pollack and he just drew me to them even more from seeing him play."

What stands out about the other teams on his list?

Georgia Tech: "I just like to watch them play and they've offered me a scholarship."

Florida State: "I like the players you know. The school system they've got."

Nebraska: "They called me today and talked to me at school and that kind of drew me to them. Their offensive coordinator said he liked my tape. I got their offer in the mail when I got home."

Florida: "I talked to their offensive coordinator at school today too. They said they like my tape and everything also. He said I should be getting something in the mail soon."

Anderson is looking for a few specific things in a school?

"Education and just to have better options when I get older. I'd like to major in something with technology. I like technology an awful lot. I also want a school that helps me get to the NFL."

Per Scott Kennedy of Scout.com, "Justin Anderson is a people mover on the offensive line. Based on the scheme they run at Irwin County, he is farther ahead as a run blocker than he is as a pass blocker, but he shows more than enough quickness to be a standout on the interior line or at offensive tackle on the college level."

Big Red Report will catch up with Justin a bit later, but wanted to pass along the opportunity to view Anderson's videos. Enjoy!
