"Yep, I got an offer from Nebraska. That makes two," Tolar said. "The other was Washington State."
"I got it on Tuesday. I met with Coach Jordan, because he was with Leon and I went up and met him. I called Coach Wagner and spoke with him and that is pretty much it."
Despite having spoke to the Nebraska coaches a couple of different times and to different coaches, he is surprisingly not getting a lot of Nebraska mail. "Actually not really. I got a few letters from them, but really not a lot."
Although Nebraska mail isn't as much as other schools, the ticket here to Tolar are the offers. That will get you on the leaderboard faster than some handwritten letters.
"Basically I am looking at all of the schools that are recruiting me. They are all my number one schools. I really want to just go through the process, weight out all of my options and decide later."
Husker fans are familiar with the Pasco name in Washington. Nebraska received a letter of intent from Leon Jackson this past year and Tolar was one of the biggest reasons to Leon's success, beyond Leon's abilities. They could possibly be together next season in Lincoln, now.
"It would be a lot of fun. The Huskers are a really good team, real good school. It's awesome that I was able to get an offer from them this early."
While he has two offers in hand and one being from Nebraska, he isn't sure if he will take in camp at Nebraska or not. He is considering it. "I'm not sure yet. I saw their brochure deal and we are still trying to decide. I am talking about it with my parents."
Ryan and Leon Jackson are pretty good friends and informed Big Red Report that Jackson recently took the SAT again, but was unsure of a test score. "Yeah, he took it. I haven't asked him about it since he took it."
