Huskers offer Corsicana, Texas standout OT

Nebraska is looking for a few good men, literally. The catch is that they must be 6-foot-5 or taller, athletic and can play offensive tackle at the next level. Interested? A lot are. However, this Texas standout got that chance, but will he seriously consider Nebraska?

Cory Brandon from Corsicana (Texas) has quietly been racking up the offers. Not just any offers, but there are some big offers in his already impressive list and it keeps getting bigger.

"I got an offer from Baylor and Nebraska today. I got an offer from Texas A&M yesterday. I also have offers from LSU, Oklahoma State, Arizona, Texas Tech, Purdue and some others. I have nine, total."

Brandon had this to say about the offer from Texas A&M, "I thought it was pretty good. I haven't made my mind up yet. I have to talk to my mom and my coaches."

What should stand out to Brandon is how close he is to Texas A&M right now living in Corsicana. "Yes sir, distance is a factor. It's a pretty big thing. I am also looking at winning. I am looking for great academics."

Brandon has his reasons about why he is looking to stay closer to home. "So I can come home on the weekends. Also, so my mom can come and see me play."

Brandon went as far as to say that he would most likely not be leaving the confines of the state of Texas for college. "I grew up watching Texas A&M, somewhat. I watch Texas basketball and their football team when they are on TV."

Right now, Brandon is favoring Texas Tech. He is also considering Oklahoma possibly if they offer. Texas A&M is also on his leader board. "My coach said that Oklahoma will probably offer."

So is Nebraska just too far away for Brandon to consider them seriously? "Yes sir."
