"It's this Thursday and Friday," said Morgan. "I run the three relays (4x100m, 4x200m, and 4x400m). I run the fourth leg on the 4x100 and 4x200 and the second leg on the 4x400. I'm not really interested in running track in college."
While he isn't interested in running track in college he is definitely interested in starring on the gridiron and schools want him to do just that. "I have around 16 offers right now. I don't have a list of favorites at the moment.
While Morgan hails from Dallas (Texas) Skyline, some of the recent rumblings about him being a lock from Texas are not true according to Morgan and according to a personal situation with his brother probably won't have a problem with distance. "No. I have never said anything like that. My brother went to UCLA to play ball out there. He's graduated already. Distance isn't a big thing."
Morgan has been getting some more coaches coming by his school to talk to his coach. While he was unable to talk to coaches personally, he knows about a Nebraska coach being there yesterday. "There were a few coaches there today. The coach was there from Nebraska, but I didn't talk to any of them. I can't talk to them yet."
With distance not being an issue, and no clear favorites, Morgan had some very encouraging things to say about Nebraska. "They are a program that's on the rise. I'm interested in them and everybody, right now."
Morgan may have the size one day to grow into putting his hand on the ground as a defensive end, but as for the moment he is being sought after as an outside linebacker.
