If you're looking for a big, fast receiver with some quality speed, Markeith Summers is your man. Nebraska identified him and his brother Anthony as prospects they were looking to learn more about a while ago. Right now, however, Markeith quotes four schools that have outshone the rest in terms of attention he's been getting. "LSU, Florida, Ole Miss, Oklahoma – They're the main ones talking to me," said Summers.
With those four schools with the apparent leg up at this point in the recruiting process, the question for Cornhusker fans is, "Where does this leave Nebraska?" Markeith reports that while Nebraska has continued contact and are still recruiting him pretty strong, the previous four schools mentioned have really stepped up their game to land him, it seems.
Summers plans to attend camps at Auburn, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Alabama in upcoming weeks and has noticed quite a few coaches coming out to check the Olive Branch team out so far. "LSU came out Oklahoma came along with Nebraska, Ole Miss. Mississippi State, Iowa State, Tennessee, Alabama, Auburn and Southern Miss," he said. We'll continue to follow Markeith and the Olive Branch bunch as their season gets closer and their decisions become made.
