23 offers and rising for one of best in Georgia

It is getting increasingly difficult to pull the top talent out of Georgia. It is a state that every out of state school wishes they could pull some talent away from. This year is a very good year again for Georgia talent and Nebraska is eyeing a pair of teammates. Can Randy Jordan and Nebraska get them to consider taking an official to Lincoln?

Jermaine Cunningham returned "home" this weekend to New York to attend a graduation. Cunningham now calls Stone Mountain (Ga.) Stephenson high school his home and is making a name for himself as being one of the best defensive ends in the country.

"I am in the airport. I am flying back to Atlanta right now. I was in New York to see my cousin's graduation. That is where I was born, I still have a lot of family there," Cunningham said.

Cunningham has already attended one camp and a couple of unofficial visits for spring games. He has an unofficial approaching in June and is planning on some team camps and seven on seven camps .

"I've already attended the Nike camp at Athens. Me and my team are probably going to the Georgia camp. On June 4 I am probably going to go down to Florida for an unofficial visit. The team is also going to go to some seven on seven passing camps."

"I've been down to Georgia for their spring game. It went good. I went to Auburn's spring game. I went to a couple of football games last year."

The 6-foot-4 and 210 pound Cunningham is over 20 offers and is thinking about his leaders. However, he knows that he can only comment on what and who he has seen before and is keeping his leaders quiet until he can see some more schools.

"I'm up to about 23 offers right now. I couldn't really name leaders because I haven't seen any schools other than Georgia, Georgia Tech and Auburn.

Cunningham has three schools in mind for his official visits right now and is looking at two others that could potentially get his last two. "I will probably officially visit Auburn, Florida and try and find my way up to Michigan. I haven't set any officials up yet. I'd say Oklahoma and Florida State are two that I would consider for the last two spots for my officials."

Stone Mountain teammate, Kelvin Sheppard, is holding a Nebraska offer along with Cunningham. The two have been talking to each other and the coach from Nebraska about possibly scheduling an official to Nebraska.

"Kelvin Sheppard and me were talking to coach Randy Jordan from Nebraska. We talked to him about going up to Nebraska to take a visit. I am considering Nebraska."

This summer will be busy with camps and unofficial visits, but Cunningham has some goals he would like to achieve when it comes to making himself a better player. "Right now I am working on my speed, really my 40 time, and my quickness. I am also working on my technique."

Jermaine is going to look from all angles when it comes to analyzing a football team and program. "I am looking at the coaching staff. I would like to get a long with the players and the staff. I will also be looking at the depth charts. Also, the student athlete facilities I will be looking at."
