Paulo receives second offer, awaits third

It's nice as a coach to have a player that you can just line up and let them go. Ronnie Paulo is that type of player. He is the type of player that an offense has to know where he is on the field at all times because he likes to make plays. That is why he received his second offer today from a neighboring school and is set to officially visit Nebraska.

Big Red Report brought you the first offer story for Ronnie Paulo and it was known then that it was literally a matter of time before others followed suit. Today Ronnie returned from a camp at Snow College, saw some mail on the table and then went to the mailbox.

"I got an offer from Utah! It's sort of out of left field for them to offer," Paulo said. "I'm actually just getting back from Snow College right now."

"I went out to the mailbox and the offer was there. It must have come yesterday. They are a top team. They were one of the top teams in the country last year. I haven't ever watched them before on television."

This is the second offer for Paulo who is also holding an offer from Nebraska. How does the Utah offer compare to the Nebraska offer? "I would say that their offer is a "6" in comparison to Nebraska. If I get more school from them I am sure that I will like them."

Paulo has been staying in touch with the Nebraska coaches. He has been talking regularly with the coach recruiting Nevada for Nebraska and has set up an official visit. "I have been keeping up with the Nebraska coaches. I have been talking to Coach (Dennis) Wagner. I set up an official for September 2 for the home opener."

Paulo is excited to get to Nebraska to see a game at Nebraska. He is looking for some things in specific when it comes to the type of environment he is expecting for the game. "I am anxious to see the amount of people that are there at a game. The excitement. I also want to see the intensity of the players getting themselves ready."

Paulo just got back from Snow College camp and has already been to the Nike camp at USC. His plans now include hours in the weight room.

"I will be weightlifting now. I am trying to improve my speed the most. I went to the Nike camp at USC. I came in at 6-foot-2 and 217. I had a 4.71/40, 17 reps at 185 on the bench press, a 30-inch vertical and did a 4.5 shuttle."
