"I think that I did very good (at the Oklahoma State camp)," Chinasa said. "I ran high 4.7 or low 4.8 in the 40-yard dash. I had one from Oklahoma State already. They offered me back in February I think."
Oklahoma State and others have been on to the top defensive end for some time. He hasn't had a chance to sit down and narrow his list, but that time is rapidly approaching. "I am up to over 20 offers. I probably won't narrow things down until the end of this month."
Ugo doesn't expect that he will get things narrowed down to just his official visits or better than a top five. His list will have to just get gradually smaller through rounds of cuts. "I will probably narrow things down to a top 10 or a top eight."
When the cuts are made there will be some things that Chinasa will be looking at specifically starting with the coaching staff. "I am looking at the coaching staff and the style of the defense that they run. I will also look at the graduation rate and their academics as well."
Chinasa hasn't set up any official visits as of yet, but if he had to today it looks like he could possibly set up as many as four just off the top of his head. "I haven't set up any officials yet. I think that I would take officials to LSU, Oklahoma, Texas and Texas A&M right now, probably."
While Nebraska isn't mentioned by Chinasa when it comes to potential teams that he would officially visit right now, he hasn't written off the Cornhuskers. "Nebraska offered me. They are up there too with the other teams that have offered me. I don't remember the name of the coach that is recruiting me from Nebraska."
Chinasa has been spending his time in the weight room and on the hardwood. He is targeting some specific areas for improvement in the weight room. "I have been playing basketball this summer too. The team has been good. I have been lifting weights too this summer. I am trying to improve my upper body strength and my quickness."
