Devin Ross can be summed up in one word: coveted. Some schools have simply sat back, taken a look at Devin and said "There's no way he'd come here." Despite that, other schools have thrown their hat in the ring for a chance at the extremely talented prospect out of Rancho Cucamonga.
Two new teams have shown up on Devin's radar: the Michigan Wolverines and the Utah Utes. Those offers bring his total up to 16 and Ross is not taking all of those offers lightly. "Right now I'm just trying to read through my research before I narrow my list down before I make the right choice," he said.
While Ross has finished visiting any camps or combines he may have wanted, there are a few unofficial trips he plans on taking at the end of July to Oregon, Oregon State and Washington. In terms of official visits, one has already been set up as Ross will be visiting the Nebraska Cornhuskers as they open their season against the Maine Black Bears. He is also considering an official visit to the University of Oklahoma.
If you're a school who has offered Devin, there is some good news despite one official slot already being taken. "All 16 teams are still in the running," he said. "By the next month I should have a top seven."
