Nebraska Head Coach Bill Callahan looks for many different types of receivers that can contribute to his version of the West Coast Offense. Sometimes you need someone to stretch the field. On the other hand, having a young man who works well as a possession man doesn't hurt either. Regardless, having a receiver that can make a play after the catch is crucial and that's what Williams would provide.
Williams reports no new offers but tallied up 13 with Connecticut, Louisville, Arkansas, Iowa, Auburn, West Virginia, East Carolina, Alabama, Nebraska and Ole Miss amongst them. Kendall is still interested in continuing his summer recruiting trails, as well. "I'm thinking about hitting Connecticut, West Virginia and Louisville and Auburn on unofficial visits," he said.Currently, Williams reports Connecticut, Auburn, West Virginia, Louisville and Florida State as his favorite schools to date. While that is how things stand at the moment, Williams provides hope for the Cornhusker fan who would like to see him in their system. "Things have been going good (with Nebraska). I haven't talked to them in about two weeks, but I need to get with them. Things sounded good when I talked to them," he said. When asked about a possible official, Williams was very adamant in his interest to visit Lincoln if the coaches wished.
