Is Jermaine Cunningham Pondering A Trip To NU?

Riding in the car with Kelvin Sheppard on the way down to visit LSU was four star defensive end Jermaine Cunningham. The second Stone Mountain prospect spoken to this evening is currently swimming in the offers, but he's got some official visits in mind. Could the Cornhuskers be lucky enough to snag one?

Well, it's summertime and you know what that means: road trip!  Stone Mountain, Georgia's Jermaine Cunningham hopped in a car with teammate Kelvin Sheppard and the two started on their way over to the home of the Tigers.  Luckily, after speaking to Kelvin, the phone was passed to Jermaine who happily gave his thoughts on his recruitment to date.

Currently, he boasts 26 offers from the likes of Florida State, Florida, Nebraska, Michigan, Oklahoma, Clemson, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Tulane, Illinois and Ball State.  While his teammate will be taking unofficial visits to LSU, Tulane and Florida, Cunningham will not be visiting the Green Wave.

In terms of official visits, Cunningham said that right now, he is pretty sure he wants to get out and see Michigan, Oklahoma and Florida.  He also reports that as of right now, everyone is still in the hunt for his services and that includes the Nebraska Cornhuskers.  "We've still got a good relationship," he said.  When asked if he'd consider an official visit to Nebraska, Cunningham said that it's definitely something he is going to consider strongly.
