Physical Florida WR Eyeing Nebraska Hard

When looking for quality high school talent, it never hurts to take a nice long gander at Florida and see what they have available in stock. Wide Receiver prospect Donald Bowens happens to have residency in the Sunshine State and also happens to have an offer from the Cornhuskers. Find out where he stands with Nebraska and just how good of a shot they have at him.

When you find yourself in a situation where you're pitching a football through the air, it never hurts to have a nice tall, physical receiver to throw to.  Enter Donald Bowens.  Standing 6' 3" and weighing in at 190 pounds, Bowens provides solid height, size and speed for the job.

Donald reports that he's had no new offers recently and currently claims four total from Nebraska, Iowa State, Rutgers and Ole Miss.  He will be visiting Florida and USF this upcoming weekend for camps that the respective schools are holding.

In terms of official visits, only one school is assured of a slot right now.  "Nebraska, they're definitely going to get one. The others, I'll probably go to Iowa State but I'm not sure," he said.  When asked about his current favorites, Donald reports that Nebraska leads the pack in terms of his offers, but admits he would enjoy an offer from the Florida State Seminoles.

When asked about his relationship with the Cornhuskers, Donald said, "I haven't talked to them in a couple weeks because I've been on the go but we've got a good relationship going on."  He reports an enjoyable relationship with Nebraska Cornerbacks Coach Phil Elmassian.
