MO Prospect Adrian Clayborn Setting Officials

With the season rapidly approaching, recruiting starts to pick up at a feverish pace once more as official visits are planned and preparations are made for football teams on every level. Missouri's Adrian Clayborn has been preparing for his senior year and spoke with us about what he is looking to improve along with his relationship with Nebraska.

Linebacker and Tight End prospect Adrian Clayborn has been working diligently this off-season tempering himself into an even more enticing prospect to collegiate coaches around the country.  Interestingly enough, however is that this season, he wants to improve the nature of his leadership abilities both vocally and physically.

"It's about playing every play, playing every down my hardest, being more of a vocal leader," he said.  Clayborn wants his teammates to feed off of his energy.

Adrian currently reports 10 offers from the likes of Nebraska, Missouri, Texas Tech, Illinois, Colorado, Kansas State and Michigan State.  The first four schools listed have made it into his top four schools of consideration.

He recently returned from a trip to Illinois which he enjoyed thoroughly and looks to return there for an official visit along with Nebraska, Missouri and possibly Texas Tech.

His relationship with the Cornhuskers has been satisfactory and he is certainly looking forward to the NU experience.  "I've been talking to Coach (Kevin) Cosgrove last week. It's been going pretty good.  He's a good coach and I look forward to seeing him on my official visit," he said.  Clayborn plans to visit Nebraska when his team has a bye week.
