Florida WR Prospect Offer Total Reaches Four

In the seemingly tireless effort to stockpile solid receivers for the West Coast Offense, Nebraska continues to scout out those it feel could do all manner of things once they catch the football, hopefully resulting in a touchdown. We were able to catch up to one of the prospects for the job, Florida prospect Sherman Lang, and get his thoughts on the recruiting trail and Nebraska in general.

With his senior season right around the corner and his final step between high school and Division 1-A football staring him in the face, Sherman Lang was faced with but one option: get better.  Even the best athletes find ways to improve their games from season to season and Lang looks to continue that trend.  "I just need to continue to be a team player and help make the plays necessary to win," he said.

Lang currently picked up offers from Florida International and Rutgers bringing his current count to four with Nebraska and Ole Miss rounding out the quartet.  In terms of official visits, Lang has nothing set up yet and is still doing research about which schools he wants to actually visit.  He claims no favorite but states that Florida State, Georgia, Pitt, Florida and Louisville are his current Top 5.

Said Lang of his relationship with the Cornhuskers, "It's been going pretty good.  They're still sending me letters," he said.  Lang reports that while a visit to Lincoln is still up in the air, he is still strongly considering the Cornhuskers and will look at them closely.
