Florida Two-Way Standout Names Co-Leaders

Several prospects that Nebraska and many schools in the country are going after are the coveted "two-way athletes". They're rare in the overall scheme of things and if you can snag a truly special one, you could have an impact player for several years. Nebraska hopes to get just that out of Florida prospect Bryan Thomas. We were able to hook up with Bryan and get his thoughts on his recruitment.

When his junior season ended, Florida prospect Bryan Thomas felt that there was more he could've done.  This year, he says, that's not going to be an issue.  "Last year we didn't have too good of a season, so I feel like there's just something I could do more in every way.  I want to be a leader and overall just help the team win," he said.

Thomas' offer list currently sits at 13 with the likes of Florida, Ohio State, Tennessee and Nebraska offering the 6' 2" WR/S prospect out of Zephyrhills, FL.  He recently took an unofficial visit to see the Gators and enjoyed the experience.  "It was nice.  The campus was good, I met the coaching staff and players, got to take a look at the facilities," he said.

Currently, he has no official visits scheduled but is looking heavily at taking trips to Ohio State, Tennessee, South Carolina and Florida.  Currently, Bryan ranks his co-favorites as Ohio State and Florida.

Thomas tells Cornhusker fans to have no fear, however and that simply because the Bucks and Gators have the advantage now, he's not discounting anything just yet.  "Everyone gets a fair chance.  I haven't really been in contact with them (Nebraska) as much as I have with Florida and Ohio State but I'm hoping to do so in the future," he said.
