Olive Branch's Walker Feeling Big Red Love

If Olive Branch High School seems to have a bevy of athletes that Nebraska is interested in, it's not by coincidence. The Summers brothers stand out along with Allen Walker, a four star safety prospect from the same team. We were able to catch up with Allen to find out what he thought about Nebraska's chances with him along with possible official visits and what he's looking to improve most upon this season.

Allen Walker would be able to provide immediate help for Nebraska at the safety position, if not at least depth.  Standing 6' 2", weighing in at 200 pounds and running a 4.5 40 yard dash, Walker would provide an excellent combination of size, speed and physicality for the position.

Currently, he is up to 10 offers from Nebraska, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Louisville, Iowa, Clemson and Memphis.  He claims Florida as a slight leader at this time.  He has no official visits lined up yet but says he intends on visiting Florida, Nebraska, LSU, Mississippi State and Iowa.

Playing both wide receiver and defensive back in high school, Walker finds himself with a few ideas in mind regarding what he'd like to improve upon.  "The thing I probably want to improve most is my route running and overall athleticism.  I want to be able to get to the next level," he said.

Regarding his relationship with Nebraska, Walker has been in contact with Defensive Line Coach John Blake and remarks that things are going well.  "Everything's been going smooth and we've been having a good relationship.  I talk to Coach Blake and he sends a lot of mail. We've developed a very good relationship," he said.
