Kentucky Big Man Still Weighing Options

Louisville, Kentucky Defensive Tackle prospect Corey Peters is ready to rock and roll for the upcoming recruiting season – somewhat. He's got some unofficial visits to some pretty great games and sat down with us to talk us through how he's feeling about the recruiting process as of right now.

Louisville, KY. prospect Corey Peters is clearly a young man of taste when it comes to selecting unofficial visits this fall.  Peters will be attending Michigan/Ohio State, Louisville/Kentucky and Purdue/Michigan all as an unofficial guest of the schools.  In terms of where he wants to go once the institution foots the charges, well, that's yet to be determined.  Corey said he would like to get out to Auburn and Minnesota for sure, though.

He's currently up to five offers from Auburn, Kentucky, Louisville, Minnesota and Marshall and says that during this upcoming season he will be working primarily on his strength and his first step off of the ball, an area he feels could use some solid improvement this fall.

Peters has no offer from Nebraska but is optimistic about the idea of eventually landing one once the Cornhusker see what he can do on the field.  "They stay in contact but I wouldn't be surprised to have an offer eventually.  I call them every now and again.  If they offered, I would most likely take a visit but from what I know now, I really don't know where I stand," said Peters understandably.

Should Nebraska offer the defensive prospect, we here at Big Red Report will be there to get you the facts.
