Four Star wide receiver prospect Ricky Dixon spoke with us a while back and the message was pretty clear: Nebraska wasn't that high on his list and pretty soon? They'd probably be dropped from it all together. This was several months ago. We managed to catch up with Ricky to find out if the Cornhuskers had officially been eliminated.
"Well, they send me a lot of mail, just not handwritten letters. Honestly, if they were to start contacting me once they're allowed to, my interest in Nebraska would probably go up," he said.
Dixon currently claims around 30 offers including recently added Arizona to go along with LSU, Ole Miss, Arkansas, UCLA, Miami, Florida State, Tennessee, Mississippi State, Alabama and Kansas State amongst others. He recently visited Florida, Georgia, Ole Miss, Tulane and LSU for unofficial trips.
When it comes down to who he'd visit officially, he said he'd go back to LSU but he's been there so many times that he doubts he'd see anything new. He will be visiting Florida as they take on their arch-rival Florida State Seminoles (11/26). Other possible visits could be to Tennessee, Miami (FL), Kansas State, UCLA and Arkansas.
Right now, Dixon claims LSU as his favorite with Florida State, Tennessee, Ole Miss and Miami (FL) rounding out the top five.
