Bradford says: "It was a 10"

When you're the number one player at your position, a five-star prospect and a player that could conceivably play from day one, any school is excited to host you. Such was the case when linebacker Allen Bradford came into Lincoln for their season opening exchange with the Maine Black Bears. Find out what Allen's experiences were like, how he enjoyed the trip and what his thoughts were overall.

When you have a shot at a player like Allen Bradford, you've got to feel pretty good about your school. Nebraska can say that they have a shot. "I know they made my Top 8 and right now I haven't ranked anyone. I'm probably going to cut it down during the season, but they're definitely getting strong consideration," he said.

While Bradford did not pull the trigger and commit during his trip, that's not to say he didn't have a good time. "I liked the fans. At first they were screaming my name and they really support their team 110%," he said. Bradford said his favorite part of the trip was interacting with all of the coaches and enjoying their company.

As far as the game went, Bradford was very impressed with the Blackshirts. "The game was good, I liked the defense. The defense was really cool," he said. Bradford said that the visit was pretty fast-paced and that most of the recruits were fairly worn out by the time kickoff arrived, but all were smiles and enjoyed some fine prime rib during their stay and some very enjoyable accommodations.

With all of that said, where does Bradford rank the trip? "It was probably a 10. I liked it because of the fans and coaches and facilities," he said.
