Williams is holding a Husker offer

Nebraska already has two commits from the state of Missouri. Last year they dipped into Missouri one time. Can Nebraska try and make it three this year? They have their eyes on a big offensive tackle and he is hold a Nebraska offer.

The big man from Missouri holding a Nebraska offer is Keith Williams. Williams is a 6-foot-6 and 305 pound offensive tackle from Florissant (Mo.) McCluer North High School.

Williams was named first team all-conference at defensive tackle and offensive guard as a junior. On offense, Keith was also named first team all-metro and all-state. He is hoping to haul in similar honors being on the number one rated team in the state.

"It's going good," Williams said. "We're 1-0. We have a big game coming up though. We are rated number one right now. We have a real big target on our heads."

When it came to preparing for the season there was really one goal in mind for Williams and that was no matter what he wanted to end his high school career on a good note. His work this summer will help him do just that.

"I just wanted to end on a good note. I wanted to have a good senior season. One of my goals this summer was to work on playing lower, not as high as I did last summer and really work on my footwork. I think that I did pretty good when it came to hitting those goals."

Williams has already hauled in some impressive offers with all of them coming from Big 10 and Big 12 schools. "I have about eight offers. I think that I can name them off of the top of my head. There is Missouri, Minnesota, Indiana, Kansas, Kansas State, Nebraska, Michigan State and Iowa."

When it comes to making his college decision it won't be distance from home that will be the biggest factor. Instead he just wants to make the best decision for him and his future. "I just want to pick the best school. That is the biggest thing. I want to major in architecture. I have taken all of my drafting and drawing classes in high school."

Williams hasn't set up any of his official visits yet or thought about who he will take to see with the visits. He is setting his sights on his senior year and then will start to look at recruiting afterward.

"I will do all of my official visits in December, after my season. I haven't even thought about who I will take my official visits to."
