Nebraska Continues To Roll 10's

One of the bigger prospects, and we mean that in both the literal and figurative sense, that visited this past weekend was Jeff Adams, an offensive lineman from Kentucky. We were able to sit down with Jeff and find out what Adams thought of the Wake Forest/Nebraska game, the other recruits in town and the Nebraska experience in general.

Jeff Adams out of Cadiz, KY is definitely noticeable when walking down the sideline of a football game.  That said, the reception he got from the Nebraska crowd was "shocking" to him.  "I was surprised because the crowd, the student section was chanting my name.  I was surprised. I didn't think they'd know about me," he said.

Adams didn't pull the trigger, but the reviews were positive from the 6' 7" prospect.  "I really liked the stores and the campus.  Like how big it is but the classes are really close together.  I like the new stuff they're doing to the stadium, plus the flight was nice.  It was my first time being on an airplane," he said.  Jeff had a burger at Misty's and bought a few souvenirs at some local shops.

One item in particular might interest Cornhusker fans.  "I bought a Blackshirt hat," said Adams.  "I liked their defense and the Tunnel Walk was really cool, too," he said.  Adams spent most of his time with current Nebraska commitment Josh Freeman and wide receiver prospect David Ausberry.  "We three had a really good time. Josh tried to convince me into committing.  David and I stayed in rooms next to each other during the trip," he said.

So after what appeared to be a pretty impressive visit, where did Adams rank the Nebraska trip overall?  "It was a 10 – The fans are crazy down there and the hosts at the game showed me a good time," he said.  Craig Roark hosted Adams.  "He's a nice guy, really nice," he said.
