Graig Cooper provides you with one of two things: a very shifty back who knows how to get yardage by simply making people miss or a solid cornerback with the speed necessary to compete with the many athletes at wide receiver in the Big XII. Standing 5' 10", weighing in at 183 pounds and running a 4.5 40 yard dash, the possibilities for Cooper seem wide open, much like his stance on recruiting.
"I'm trying to set up visits to Florida-Alabama so I could visit Alabama along with a trip to Ole Miss, but other than that I'm still wide open to the process," he said. He recently added Miami (FL) to his list of offers that includes Nebraska, LSU, Louisville, Oklahoma State, and Tennessee with nine in total.
In looking at the Nebraska Cornhuskers' chances with Graig, he is impressed with not only the caliber of athlete that NU is bringing in at his position, but their determination to continue the tradition of the running game and that's before speaking of their tradition overall. "Nebraska's in it, I'm just taking a wait and see attitude with the process at this point. They have a good running game and they've had some good running teams. Besides, there's a lot of tradition on the field at Nebraska," he said.
