"I liked the visit," Poe said. "It was really nice."
Official visitors came to Lincoln on a weekend where they didn't find the Cornhuskers notching a win. However, sometimes it is good for a visitor to see how things are handled in times of defeat.
"The fans stood out! They were just to die for. Win or lost they are still up. The coaches are really laid back. The players were really cool with all of us."
Poe hit up a friendship with another official visitor in Lincoln, Jerry Brown. The two of them have discussed possibly playing the college football together and maybe even in Lincoln.
"It would be really good. Both of us liked it. I almost committed on the trip. I want to sit down with my mom and dad and talk about it. I just need to be sure."
While Poe was in Lincoln he had a chance to understand how the coaching staff thinks he can help the team. It may have been easier to tell Poe what positions he isn't being considered for.
"They pretty much said any position I want. I can run the ball, catch the ball or play defense. They said that I could play linebacker or safety on defense. They just said I could play wherever I want."
