Huskers set visit with JC OT

Nebraska has secured a visit with a Junior College Pre-Season All-American. The Huskers have been in pursuit of the offensive tackle for a while now, but will it win out in the end? Nebraska may just be getting the last visit.

Shannon Boatman has finally set the visit date with Nebraska. Last night we broke it that it could be for November 12, but some things have changed in the past 24 hours, like it usually does, but a visit is set nonetheless.

"Yes sir they (Nebraska) called me," Boatman said. "We set up a visit for December 16, 17 and 18."

To go along with the Nebraska visit, Boatman also has two other visits set up currently. "Right now I have Oklahoma State and Iowa State set up. Those are the other ones before that. I go to Oklahoma State December 2 and Iowa State on December 9."

The last part of November and early part of December will be loaded for Boatman who intends on taking all three of the scheduled visits plus the other two visits that he is entitled to.

"I am going to take all of my visits. I will take those three and two more. I am just trying to figure who to plan them with. I am waiting for South Carolina to get back with me and Texas A&M called me. I will figure it out from there."

Boatman wraps up his Junior College career on the road this weekend. A career that ended with him being named an All-American his redshirt sophomore year.

"We play in Corsicana this weekend. It's the last game for us. We play at 1:00."
