Last year's record-setting class was the first full class of the Bill Callahan era. It was one that has already had a major impact on this year's team:

Jordan Congdon hits the game-winning field goal against Kansas State and breaks the freshman record for field goals and ties the record for the most field goals in a season.

Barry Turner blocked two kicks during the season and ranked third on the team in sacks and that was just in situational duty.

Zach Potter blocked two kicks as well, one of them the attempted game-winner by Pittsburgh, Nebraska beating the Panthers 7-6

This year like few others, the freshman have had an impact and we brought you one of if not the most comprehensive guide to that class in our first Big Red Report Recruiting Guide.

Well, it's that time of year again and you won't want to miss out on the second full class of the Bill Callahan era, as Nebraska continues its retooling process in rebuilding the Nebraska tradition.

Seth Jensen, an incredibly quick rush end, standing 6 foot, 4 inches tall, weighing 270 pounds, committed to Nebraska after being recruited by some of the best teams around the country, including his own in-state program and the school thought to be the favorite for him, Colorado. He's a future Husker.

Andre Jones, one of the best cornerbacks in the country, comes from Fresno Junior College along with teammate Steve Allen, a junior college linebacker that could follow in the footsteps of other junior college LBs at Nebraska like Terrell Farley.

Josh Freeman, ranked as one of the top 14 quarterbacks in the country, gives you amazing size (6-foot-6, 230 pounds) and great athleticism and he was recruited for a variety of positions, including tight end and defensive end. He committed along with San Diego native Menelik Holt, a receiver, who fits the new stereotype of the new age receiver, standing 6-foot-4, having the range to be a possession receiver in the short field and a weapon down the field when necessary.

All these players and more. All the current commits and the one that have yet to come. Analysis on what they can do, what they will need to improve upon and what we think they will do at the next level. Get your issue reserved today - your complete guide to the class of 2006.
