NU Match to be Shown for Free on

Husker volleyball fans across the world can watch Nebraska's opening-round NCAA Tournament match with Alabama A&M for free on the Internet, as Friday's match will be shown live on beginning at 7 p.m. (central)

The video feed will be the same feed that television viewers can watch, as the match will also be shown across the state on Nebraska Educational Television (NET-1, Ch. 12 in Lincoln) and in high-definition on NET-HD. The broadcast team of Kevin Kugler and Kathi Weiskamp will call the action live from a sold-out Nebraska Coliseum.

If Nebraska advances to the second round, that match between the Huskers and the winner of Friday's other match between Duke and American University will also be shown live on

In order to watch this weekend's matches, you must have a broadband connection. The match will also be carried on the Pinnacle Sports Network, including both B107.3 FM and KLIN (1400 AM) in Lincoln and in Omaha on KFAB 1110 AM with John Baylor and Diane Mendenhall calling the action.

Husker volleyball fans have been able to follow the No. 1-ranked Huskers throughout the 2005 season, as every match is carried on an 18-station radio network, while almost every contest is also video-streamed live on the Internet at HuskersNside.
