Henry pulls the trigger

The need has been tall receivers. The Huskers have gone out and addressed that need up to this point, but today addressed it in a big way. The comparison that you have to make, on paper, when you see Will Henry has to be Matt Jones. He has similar height, speed and leaping ability.

Will Henry is coming to Nebraska. All 6-foot-6 and 200 pounds of him. That is a big target for Zach Taylor next year. Henry is bringing his 4.47/40 and 35" vertical with him.

"Yes sir I did, I committed," Henry said. "The program is amazing. The coaching staff is great and the facilities are amazing. It's something that I definitely want to be a part of. I definitely committed."

Henry made the decision despite traveling by himself from El Paso (Texas) J.M. Hanks HS. Henry wasn't just blown away with what the school or the town has to offer, but he even said that the weather was amazing.

"I think the town is amazing and it is somewhat similar to El Paso, Texas. The city is real nice and the people are all really nice. The weather is even amazing."

Big Red Report will be catching up with Henry tonight after he returns home. Henry becomes the 21st known verbal to the 2005-2006 class of Nebraska and the fourth receiver. The other receivers are Menelik Holt (6-foot-4), Maurice Purify (6-foot-4) and Tyrell Spain (6-foot-3).
