Purify grabs yet another honor

Maurice Purify garners yet another regular season award.

You know, Maurice Purify really needs to get noticed.


Ok, that's sarcastic as he has gotten noticed and he has gotten yet another statement of just what kind of all-purpose athlete he is.


Purify said that yesterday he was notified that in he was voted CCCFCA first-team All-American for basketball. Purify led his Rams to the post-season, averaging 19 points, nine rebounds and five assists per game.


His team will kick off the post-season as a third seed in the tournament, scheduled to play West Hills (19-12) on the 25th, tip off set at 7 P.M. Pacific time.


San Francisco (27-3) goes in ranked below only Fresno (30-4) and West Valley (29-3) in the North Bracket of the tournament.


Purify now adds this title to his collection, Purify already a first-team CCCFCA All-American at the wide receiver position for the Rams. Maurice averaged over 110 yards per game his sophomore season with CCSF, scoring 19 touchdowns, including four in the post-season.
