Busy months coming up for Pritchard

Things tend to pick up for recruits not only as time goes on, but as they get out and take unofficial visits, go to camps and participate in combines. It's the eyeballing that colleges like to do of the recruit and that the recruit likes to do of the school and the team. Blake Pritchard has been a busy man returning from Nebraska a little while ago and just saw another school.

Blake Pritchard from Jacksonville (Flor.) Sandalwood just got back from Nebraska a couple of weeks ago. Now, the 6-foot-5 asnd 296 pound defensive tackle/offensive tackle was on the road again this weekend. This time to visit ACC country.

"I went to Georgia Tech last week and I really liked it a lot," Pritchard said. "I went there with Rahim Ivey and my mom. I liked it a lot. I liked the coaches. I just went there for one of their scrimmages."

"One of my coaches' dads coaches at Georgia Tech. That coach that is at Georgia Tech also coached my dad at one point. There are a bunch of connections that way."

The trips to ACC schools don't stop there they just begin there. Pritchard is heading over to Tallahassee this coming weekend with a teammate. He is also considering heading down to southern Miami for another spring game.

"Rahim and I are headed up to Florida State this weekend. We are just headed there to watch their spring game. I like Florida State a lot. Miami invited to their spring game and I might go to that."

Pritchard called Big Red Report to update his list of favorites. He claims that Florida, Florida State, Miami, Nebraska, Georgia Tech, Ohio State, Iowa, Oklahoma and Illinois are his favorites. He doesn't have any offers from any of those schools, but he does have some offers.

"I do have some small school offers, but I am just waiting for the big schools to offer. Once a big school offers then they will have a big lead because it shows me something about what they think about me." "The month of May is a busy month. I am going to the other Scout.com combine at Boca Raton to try and improve on some things. I went to the one at Jacksonville and didn't know what was going to happen and now I know. I am going to go to the Nebraska camp, probably the Iowa one-day camp and me and Rahim might go to some of the Miami, Florida and Florida State ones."
