This weekend was turning out to be a very big one. It still remains a big one for Nebraska, but two of the scheduled visitors will not be there. These two are both heralded recruits who Nebraska seems to have come one for very recently. Can Nebraska get them rescheduled for another visit or will Nebraska miss their chance? Find out inside!

Well, there are two less visitors that will be expected for this weekend in Lincoln. The number was nearing double-digits, and still might, but these two will be hard to back-fill in terms of quality.

Teammates Larry Asante and Gary Chandler will not be making it up to Nebraska as recently reported. Big Red Report has confirmed that there are some questions about high school academics.

"Coach Shawn Watson from Nebraska said that he wanted Gary and my high school transcripts," Asante said. "So, we had to go ahead and reschedule the visits."

Asante is a playmaker at the SAM linebacker spot for Coffeyville (Kan.), but is projected to play WILL at the next level. The 6-foot-1 and 220 pound linebacker has 4.5 speed in the 40 and is a demon on the field.

Chandler was a highly regarded recruit out of high school and committed to Kansas State. Chandler is a 5-foot-10 and 185 pound safety with 4.4 speed and a knack for being around the football.

Both Chandler and Asante are really regarded as two of the better junior college players at their respective positions. Can a late change like this keep Nebraska in the running and get them scheduled for another official?

"Yes sir, we are coming to Nebraska for the Colorado game on 11/24. It's the day after Thanksgiving and will be a big game for Nebraska."

Looks like that weekend just got a little bigger.
