Baseball Meet and Greet Set for Oct. 7

The Husker Home Run Club is inviting the public to have a Breakfast of Champions with the Nebraska baseball program on Saturday, Oct. 7.

The event, which runs from 9 to 11 a.m., is free to the public and fans are encouraged to enjoy breakfast at the park consisting of cereals, bagels, fruits, milk, juice and coffee while watching the Huskers go through fall drills, including a live scrimmage.

Fans that come out to the event can join Home Run Club officers on a behind-the-scenes tour of Haymarket Park, including the Husker locker rooms and medical facilities, radio booth, press box and the Diamond View Lounge.

The event is open to all fans while Husker Home Run Club will have membership information and merchandising order forms available for fans to purchase items for the upcoming holiday season.

The meet-and-greet event is one of the final practices for the Husker baseball team prior to the Red/White World Series from Oct. 11-13. All three series events are open to the public.
