Farlow still waiting

Last night was an interesting night for Kendale Farlow. The 6-foot-0 and 190 pound linebacker from Evanston (Ill.) Township got to see the two schools that have offered him square off; Nebraska and Iowa State. Farlow was supposed to be in Ames last night, but he had a game on Saturday afternoon. He is looking to set up an official to Lincoln soon.

The was supposed to be a very interesting visitor in the stands for Iowa State last night. Kendale Farlow is holding two offers. One is from Iowa State and one is from Nebraska.

It's one of those visits that you get to see two schools that you are interested in, but the visit didn't happen. Farlow had a game on Saturday, but was still planning on making the game that night.

"No, I couldn't make it," Farlow said. "We had a game this Saturday. It didn't end until about 5:00 so we never would have made it."

In the last update with Big Red Report Farlow was thinking that he might have his test score back. That test score is something that Nebraska wants to see before bringing Kendale in for an official visit.

"I haven't gotten back my score yet. Not in the mail. I haven't received it yet. I was hoping to have it back by this time."

"I will be getting it either this coming up week or the week after. That is what Nebraska is waiting on with setting up an official there."

Farlow says that despite Nebraska's policy to see the test score before the official that he really likes them. Last night was a good chance to see Nebraska play because of their opponent.

"I like them. I watched the game last night. The battle of the schools that I have an offer from. It was a real good game."

Watching the game, Farlow said that Nebraska's defense really stood out and that he could see himself playing there. "I like Nebraska's defense. I can see myself playing in that defense. They are recruiting me to play linebacker for them."
